    as the title says, I've got a 300zx TT it only happens sometimes, idle is a tad high (850-950). was at the traffic lights and it suddenly just stalled out.

    Wait, you think 850-950 high? 850 is the ideal idle isn't it?

    How is your idle on a cold morning? If its a bit erratic and goes up and down without any throttle input, I would say it could be the IACV and valve playing up. It could be sticking or not working at all... This may be the reason too.

    Think it should be 700 - 750 , NA's are 50 revs I think different to TT's

    From Tech section :

    NA AT = 720 RPM
    NA MT => 650 RPM
    TT => 700 RPM

    Do you have your aircon on ? lol

    Probably have an air leak or air mixture screw not adjusted properly .

    Lol no :rolleyes: no air leaks either, I've only just done all the gaskets in the bay... I do believe I need a new IACV as I have an erratic idle sometimes on cold mornings. I had cleaned the IACV, but I actually think I may have disturbed something that wasnt broke....now it is :(

    Unless you already have a Series 2 PTU I'd suggest you change to one. Another prob could be dirty/faulty spark plugs... Idle should be around 750rpm.
