hey all i am looking at putting bigger rotors and factory caliper adapter kit on my car. Can anyone give me some feedback on what they have or could recommend. Cheers

I'm using 324mm "Kangaroo Paw" front discs(with caliper adapters). These have been trouble free for several years. BE AWARE that if you go this route(larger discs)you will need to use larger diameter rims and tyres, as there is insufficient clearance on the repositioned caliper. An additional issue is that your 'Space-saver' factory spare wheel/tyre combo won't fit on the front anymore(for the same reason). A Supra space-saver spare is an option to fix this(but it is butt-ugly and bloody heavy).:zlove:
Don't be so hard on yourself Lloyd........... I wouldn't worry too much about the spare wheel dilemma, I've been running the same setup as Chili on my coupe (deflatable space saver) for a decade and never needed to use the spare If you ever get a 'front' flat tyre, fit the spacesaver to the rear and use that wheel 'upfront'. You won't want to be going over about 60kmhr anyway 'cause those spacesaver tyres are lethal
The coupe spacesaver is only 15''...... and the 2+2 is 16". Clearing the 12.75" rotor is not the problem, clearing the great lump of caliper straddling the rotor is the problem A 17"+ wheel is necessary with 324mm rotors
A 15" wheel will clear any rotor !!!! As I said before, you must clear the CALIPER. There is no guarantee an 18" wheel will clear the caliper on a 324mm rotor..... some wheel designs will still hit the caliper.
Agree, this combination is hard to beat, plug & play as well. On the cynical side, I'm yet to be convinced that installing a larger diameter rotor with stock calipers, resulting in less pad contact on the rotors, is going to provide an increase in braking performance.
That's irrelevant to braking performance. Though bigger diameter will give a larger braking torque and better heat dissipation.
Agreed.... The 'dogbone relocation' of the oem calipers is a teriffic 'bang for buck' modification that closely emulates the Gtr Brembo setup If you swap out the pads and use the 4WD Toyota units, you largely nullify the 'loss of pad contact area' problem
I've got Wilwood 328mm rotors and Wilwood Dynalite calipers with Wilwood 30B pads on my track car. 17inch wheels. I've got several different makes and styles of 17inch wheels and they all easily clear the caliper
