For the price they look to be quite good with some really good features such as dvd, gps, ipod, bluetooth, digital tv etc Plus they look like a stock nissan headunit, which is a bonus.... Really just want to know if they are any good because i am considering buying one for my 91 300zx tt manual, and getting rid of the old pioneer single din headunit Haven't been able to find any reviews on them on the internet or anywhere else for that matter.
don't buy it Don't. Seems low end on features. You can find Android head units with reversing camera and GPS and digital TV. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Android-4-0-Double-Din-Car-CD-DVD-Player-WIFI-GPS-RDS-Ipod-Bluetooth-Digital-TV-/150979293631?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item23271131bf
thanks The android brings more features to the table like internet and all that...but that particular model isn't very appealing to me. It should fit ok, and i'll buy a double din center piece . http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/TD718A-6...es&hash=item3ccc6e0a20&_uhb=1#ht_13797wt_1271 I like this android headunit, but doesn't have dvb-t. Has anyone out there experienced much with car digital tv...would it be worth getting something with dual antennas as opposed to a single antenna? Some people say their a total waste of time because of the lack of reception in most areas, but i'm not sure, some websites say it can show clear recpetion whilst driving up to 120km/h...
you shouldnt be watching tv while driving. they are good when stuck in rush hour and your not moving all at mcdonalds having a meal in your car rofl.
lol yes thats true...but might aswell get one that can actually recieves signals and works well, than pay for a feature that doesn't work well.
I've got TV in the Audi, and the old Evo had a tv headunit in it. Pretty crap really, picture isn't good when you are moving and you can't really watch it. Audi is good in traffic jams though
This is the exact reason I bothered replying to this thread. Don't buy a head unit with analog TV. Must be digital or nothing. Don't buy a head unit with a CPU slower than 1ghz. Don't buy a head unit that uses windows CE as OS. Get Android. You can install other apps if you have Android. Different GPS, etc. You should also get reversing camera and bluetooth. Like everyone says, you only use digital TV when parked, you can get a signal booster like the one you use at home if the reception is poor. You can also park on a hill or turn the car around
got ya Iddavid...go Android OS.... Is that to say this certain company's claims of " clear reception of speeds up to 110km/h" is bullshit? my reason for asking such things is because the dual antenna dvb-t are more expensive than a single antenna unit.
Don't forget to buy a new alarm system for your car, once you have that 7" in-dash screen on display. I was modding a stereo surround for double din and started to ask myself if I really use the stereo.
