Would you risk a $300 camera with a bit of duct tape? I'd rather use one of my stick on mounts and rip up paint than tape it.

I'll bring the HD2 along if anyone wants some footage of their car. Happy to go backup if anyone pulls out Al.

 

Duct tape inside the car to the rear view mirror would be safe enough.
You would be able to swivel it for the best angle

Fitted a Balltech LSD out of an R33 into my Navara yesterday. Tested it after work on wet roads today, works great! haha.

So on Sunday there are a few things that will need to be done before we go on track.

Firstly pump all you tyres up and make sure the pressures are even. For some crazy reason they check this.

Secondly we will have some forms to fill out so if you can arrive 15 mins early it will give us a chance to get that done. I will be there at 12pm and I will supply the forms.

Thirdly remember to clean out the interior of you car, so no loose drink bottles, tools or sub boxes as they will come loose and float about.

If you are worried about your exhaust noise i will be bringing a set of 4 inch baffles for those with 4 inch tips.

If anyone wants to come and spectate you are welcome to but you will not be able to bring your cars into the venue. You will need to get there early catch a ride in with a participant from the front gate. Gates will be locked after we are all inside so best to be there in time.

.....ok so i'm a noob to this sort of event, if i want to participate in this, but wasn't in the first 12, do i just rock up on the day and fingers crossed? i do/don't have to park 5 k away? ill bring my pedo-wagon if thats the case! (wasn't trying to be rude, only way i could think of saying it) also want to try and get some photographs so wasn't to keen on lugging all that crap is all......

 

All 12 participants have already pre paid so there arent any spots left so you cannot drive however you can ride as a passenger. If you meet us at the gate early you can get a lift in with one of us and bring you gear in that way.

When you drive into the complex off the main road about 50m in there is a small carpark for the skidpan and we will all be there.
