Where can i buy a new/replacement dash for a 90~93 zx RHD, ive found this one (http://www.conceptzperformance.com/..._Type=NIS300&UID=2012110103273858.107.184.121) but its LHD, im looking for one with no broken screw brackets etc.
New ones from Nissan are priced at $1700 AUD from Japan. I should know I have a brand new one on the way from Japan as we speak
That's insane. I was just thinking today how I'd love to fit a new one, but not for that price! I'd much much rather bring in an Abflug rear bar, about the same size (ish) and much cheaper!
No direct from Nissan themselves. I still need to pay shipping onto of that but its pretty light and not that big so Im only expecting $400 max for shipping but ill find out later. I ordered it direct from Nissan Japan through a guy named Jesse Streeter who can sources items for people from Japan. I used Nissan part numbers to get the dash I wanted. Compared to my old dash which is broken in like 50 different places, has lifting dash symptoms and a ugly baked in coffee stain I just had to get a brand new one. I prefer the OEM body parts over after market and they cost me as much as the dash did, each.
i have one in PERFECT condition in dandenong if you wanna come have a look at it. im after $200 for it.. when i say perfect i mean it.. no damage on the dash itself.

I'm interested but not for anywhere even in the same ball park as price quoted. You'd be hard pressed to find the numbers I think, especially considering the task of swapping them. I've pulled my motor, changed my dumps in car and am about to attempt a heater core swap but changing the dash is not something I'm keen to try.
Pulling the dash is a piece of piss. Less than half an hour if you have done it before and know what bolt has to come from where. Getting the heater box out with the aircon still in and gassed is the hard bit, the actual dash is no worries.
if you don want to spend the money, thats fine......i mean lets face it, its going to be well over $1000 regardless of how much discount we can get...... im not too concerend on spending that though for something as significant as the dash.
Goddam would be really keen on something like this but not sure how my disposable income is looking for the next couple of months. Keep us posted though!
