Nissan sells part number 26550Z - 300ZX SEALER-REAR COMBINATION LAMP
About 1 1/2 rolls should do the trick, can get it from nissan or courtesy parts online

Others have had luck with sika-type sealants that do not set, but remain sticky. You need this stuff otherwise water can get into the boot compartment

    like Mitch says...

    nissan do the rolls.

I use a butyl sealant that comes in rolls as well, like this:
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/68-79-Nova-Butyl-Windshield-Installation-Seal-/290384390101?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item439c4227d5

cheaper than nissan but I'm but sure you can get it in Oz. you might be able to get some from a windscreen fitters.

    you could use this:

Like some others - I used a sikaflex permanent bead around the lights and let it dry first, then used a non permanent sealant at the back.

It tends to be waterproof and you can remove and replace it without worrying about using any type of sealant again.

Probably a bit overboard on average, but a job worth doing is worth doing properly, especially if you intend to remove it later, theres a few around that have done it this way.

If you dont use sealant of any kind - washing your car can be a problem but badxtc reckons he has never gotten water in it.

Maybe he doesnt wash his car up close with a guerney - lol

Yeah this is what I did. I never had any problems. There is no need to take of what's all ready there.

Oh, just that those recaros give people an inflated sense of self worth.

    Why, Dean? ;)

I'm not just being jealous...that's for sure.
