black box issues

hey guys

my brake lights wont light up when im braking only the third will... people have mentioned the black box (brake light relay) and ive heard of a bypass?

ive looked around but cant find any information on the bypass, if there is one lol

help will be greatly appreciated

 

it nothing,, just open it up and re soilder it ..

 

i was looking at it and i cant see how i would open the blasted thing, ill take a gander at it again

 

nothing to it .. where it plugs up, there is a white plate type thing , pop it out , ( flat screw driver ) then the bored will come out .

p.s don't go crazy, its most likely the earth . solder just the pins on the bored, then it should be fine ..

lol yeah i tho so , you really need something that can get under it ,( as it far in ) and pop it out ,

just do what you have to do to get it out , it will come out, , just be careful as the board is on the bottom of one side , so you dont want to hurt the board ,,

just put some pressure on it it will come out .

( I REMMEBER MY FIRST TIME , I HAD PROBLEMS TO )

ahh got it, ill just touch up on all the solder points?

 

yeah give it a good look. most of the time you will not really see the dry solder , but its all good just go over it . concentrate on the 8 pin( i think ) section , where the plugs goes in to. there is an earth there that lets go all the time , but yrs do the rest as well .. when you put it back , just leave it out of the box and test it . make sure does not touch the body of the car

 

get a white one. black things never work >
