The whole time I've been on this forum nobody has mentioned this car [yt]tQm492Txp_0[/yt] owner on here? -A
Good find, I'd not seen it before either. Not my cuppa tea but kudos to the owner for seeing his vision through to the end.
Video's been posted before a few times. I seem to recall the engine being built by Gavin Wood, on the Gold Coast, could be wrong tho.
260kw..... thats not much :/ its clean, ill give him that... not my taste but ive seen worse... rear end is horrible but... different stock rear end, no stripes and its not bad.. "concept car 330" he called it... but, its still a zed? lol at "bob" though
I like it and first time I have seen it - individual cars are what we try to create and is part of car culture. I had a roof chopped series 2 RX7 in 1996 that was unique at the time , lots of people hated on it but I loved it. My vision for my 2 + 2 is slowly coming together and its not going to look like any another zed, I spend alot of time on photo shop lol. I think the touring wing and the rear lights are pretty good , I would do the rear diffuser differently though. When a car is done well as a whole package then thats worth it I am going to try for something similar to the below pics in black, something batman would drive
A lot of time. effort and money has gone into that car(and attention to detail). What a pity it looks as though it's been hit up the ass by a "B" Double.
More show than go. If that is what he wants, a poser mobile, that is his choice. 350HP and stock brakes on a 1550Kg car with another 200Kg's of accessories is hardly time attack stuff. When ever I am down the GC, I pray to see this car. :br:
It used to look nice when it was on the show scene, but it's seen its day. A bit rough nowadays tho. Last I heard it was getting a makeover tho, but this was about 2 years ago... Pretty sure Rob (k-zed) saw a new engine built at Gav Wood, but the colour was something that doesn't go with blue and white lol
a little ricy yeah, but i dont like the fact he calls it a "330zx" if he ad a 3.3 ltr motor in there, then maybe, but as it is its just a heavily modofied 300zx, nothing more, nothing less....
Nice work Not sure about the rice tag? The Guys worked hard and devoted some substancial Funds as well to get this completed ... give the bloke some credit ... If he was a mate of yours you'ld at least give him that . Shouldn't get pasted for producing a nice all round and basically tasteful mod of the Zed. I mean after some of the 'things' that people call good.. a Quote from he bloke on one of the USA 300zx reviews ' There are plenty of people around that will sell you something to make this car look ugly". .. or to that effect. This is definately not one of those ...
Yeah I could of been a bit harsh, its definitely no ugly or bad, he has just mixed in too much make believe for me and that is somehow worse when it does have a serious edge to it. Where are the naca ducts going ? Ferrari stuff hmmmm Roof vent wtf ? Door decals Scissor doors Taking a Nissan and then adding design bits from Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche is insulting and crass on so many levels IMO. What is the relevance, I might put a Rolls flying lady on the front of mine. I can understand making an R35 style front bar for a Nissan, but I cannot understand putting a prancing horse on a Nissan. Mechanically and engine it looks very good. But what was it built for ? It is a show car masquerading as a contender. Not a street bruiser, not time attack, not a 1/4 miler, it is a poser, and I understand that is what some people want. The concept is flawed in my perspective. But no doubt it is a top car.
