So,My babe was making noises since i bought it and the mechanic told me that the front engine manifold has to be repaired.I want to do it but no one wants to touch it.
Please let me know if anyone knows who does all that engine work in melbourne.

    Front Engine Manifold??

Get one of the forum lads to look at it and diagnose the actual part thats damaged.

Could be plenum (upper intake manifold), easy fix
Could be lower plenum (lower intake manifold), bit more complicated, but still not difficult
Could be exhaust manifold, on a turbo thats more difficult
Or it could be anything else that some mechanic just through in a car-like description of.

Sounds like you've got a gasket leak on the exhaust manifold or the fan shroud is loose and hitting the fan.

    Fan shroud - easy as.
Exhaust gasket - NA=easy TT drivers=side doable with engine in, TT pasenger side=engine out.
