recirc valve

    i pulled my factory recirc valves of and replaced them with bov's and found oil in the r/h valve and the l/h valve was dry where did this oil come from what is the diagnosis.

    Could be from old clogged PCV Valves

    was told it could be turbo seals but the oil was clean

    I found this in my old car. somone did a write up on it but cant find were.

    The most likely place for oil on that side of the TB is from turbo intake oil seals unfortunately. Oil from PCV's will predominately stay on the plenum side of the TB.

    Easy way to tell, have a look in your intercooler piping, if there's oil in there it's turbo's.
