Hi guys, theres a small problem where water is gushing out onto the passenger side footwell when i turn a sharp corner after running the airconditioner for a while. It seems that maybe the drain is blocked or missing, is this a common problem? can somebody please direct me to where i should be looking to find where this water is coming from, and how to get it out of the car instead of on my feet thanks!
Your suspicions maybe correct. Pull the cover off the ECU in the passenger footwell as well as the long trim cover under the glove box. You will see a black rubber hose coming out of the rear of the A/C condenser that goes through a metal bracket and then protrudes through the fire wall. Most likely this hose has either come off the back of the A/C condenser box or it is blocked.
