As a few of the older perth zedders might know, I have been absent from the zed scene for a while, have been busy with work, buying a house and my new daughter. In the last 18 or so months, the zed has sat in the shed collecting dust... with a few niggles to get it out onto the road/ track or meelup hillclimb, but that never happened. I think she has done less than 1000kms this year, most done by my partner I pulled it out the other night, to wash it and i took a few pics so you guys can share my problem lol. too sell or not to sell! :zlove: Just a few pics of my 1994 nissan 300zx twin turbo and my 2010 australia day daughter Eloise.
that is one beautiful zed ... and a beautiful daughter too ... !!! to sell the Zed in the current market would, i imagine, mean you losing a bomb ....
2 beautiful girls indeed!! :zlove: What a really clean looking example! Love the wheels, and also the brakes especially. ...and btw, you're Zed looks good too. :zlove: Don't sell. Keep for another 5 years and see how you feel, and how the market feels. Thanks for sharing those beautiful photos. Cheers, Benny.
It honestly makes no sense to sell unless you are in dire straits. They are worth almost nothing so you will loose heaps of invested money.
As others have already said, two lovely girls. Both priceless, and both irreplaceable(so how can you let either one go)? Answer is simple, hang on to them both, and guard them with your life(you will NEVER get what either one is worth).:zlove::zlove:
thanks guys thanks for the comments... yeh, this zed has quite a bit of money invested, aka hks coilies and smic, avcr tune, brembos and heaps of other bits. talking with mrs tonight, she said its up to me whether i sell or not and looking at current values is it worth it? Time is the real issue, i dont have enough of it to enjoy the car. I have many other projects on the go/waiting...1978 RD400 motorbike, 1974 BMW 2002 coupe, 1967 MGB coupe (mrs not mine!) or maybe i should try and get a bit more serious and try some real motorsport:br:
Only you can know what you have to do, looking at your zed, its a very good example, you will likely lose money on the sale... You may get lucky and sell it for a good amount but in todays market you would have to be very lucky and find the right buyer..
loverly daughter,,ive had to wait till my 3x daughters grew up b4 i could buy my 1st zed im 46 now,,my daughters love my zed,you own a zed now and youve got a young family,,lucky you,if you can afford to keep the zed,do keep it as it might be a long time before you could get another zed if any/ cheers
if you love the car, are financially ok and have garage space, keep it. I had to sell an EH Holden due to lack of space and i miss it heaps. You obviously have thoughts about putting it on the track someday. Do it when you have a bit more dosh and time. My 2 cents.
was wondering were you went , this explains it....... i suppose the simple answer to the question is, if your happy to part with the zed for sub 10k, then sell it, but if you expect anything more than that, dont evn bother trying to sell it becasue over that price they rarely sell, regardless of condition
