I have this setup on my Z...seems fine so far...you may just need to make sure that the pods are attached properly...I went as far as to put a couple of small drops of super glue to ensure they wont fall off due to bumps on the road or vibration.

Performance gains = 0. A true twin intake has no 'T' going from 2 into 1, (this is where the restriction is).

The air filters on those ebay intakes are 100% useless.

You can get fairly stumpy pods from supercheap etc that will clear the front mount.

at the moment iv got a standard pod from supa cheap i want it in a better position than straight behind my front mount, if i wack the dual one on the pods will be up right behind my vented nose pannel.

I might consider one just to get my 3A filter up in the air, they point down a long way due to being so big.

are the pods that come with the dual pod setup really that shit that they will have a negative impact on the induction. i have one of the cheaper pods from super cheap at the moment, are they worse than that?

This is the setup i had on my old zed but i didnt have to worry about a AFM. I ended up removing it and went a custom intake under each headlight...the air flowed so much better and it helped getting the airflow to the radiator

off topic, does it affect the air flow measurement accuracy if the afm is too far from the pod?
e.g afm at stock position but the pod moved to stock smic position/underhead light?
