by the same token, i have 2 calendars with chicks on them in our house. Sure, they're all in different positions and wearing different outfits, but they're all the 'same', you know? They're all human females Woe is me So I guess, if you wanted a 300zx calendar to have other Z cars on it, then that's fine. But why would you want your 'playboy bunny' calendar to have pics of gay men on it? my 2 cents. Maybe somebody can do a Z car history calendar one day, but that's not the point of this caldendar.
Im in this year for one. Will take the car out for some pics soon as it will be ready for this years calendar. Was disappointed I didn't get in last year.
well I love this years calender and can't wait to see next years!. Andrew did a bloody great job with the calender and poster and I have every confidence that he can organise next years just as well, if not better. Keep up the good work Andrew and when it comes time to place orders, I will definately be in for one :zlove:. Cheers Andy
Thanks for all of the replies so far everyone! To answer the main questions: There will be a new thread open very soon for submissions of images, as stated in the thread I was just waiting to see if we have a similar interest to last years to go ahead with a new project, and it seems like its a goer again For talk about having other Zed's my personal preference is to have it as just 300ZX's as you can pretty much buy a Nissan Calendar at any good newsagent. The idea of this is to produce something you cant get in Australia. But I've left the guidelines open to a little interpretation after last years issues, so by all means submit any sweet looking 240-370Z's but it will at the end as said before, be left to a vote from those who are buying. I hope this answers your questions
yep fair point well made. Was just putting my opinion down and it's not the widley felt view so that's all good. There are more and more 350/370z owners though on this forum. We have 4 or more 350Zs in the WA crowd, and 2 370Z owners, but yep, seems the vocal majority are still Z32's and the calander should reflect the forum majority (hence the voting) so that's all good. I'm out.
stick to Z32s. it is aus300zx after all. ill still buy a Z car calender if there was one made, as i love 240Z all the way to 370Z, but this as far as i can see is a 300zx calender, is it not?
Suggesting that when compared to z32's other z's *cough*350z vert*cough* look like gay men compared to playboy bunnies:zlove:
Would like to have a nice widebody Z in the calendar, I hope you can get some nice shots of the car! I might have to think of an excuse to get down to Tassie
I'm in... I'll definitely submit pics for this year, too! Would love to make it in, just have to find a photographer with at least half of Andrew's talent here in Canberra... Lil' Baz..... :zlove:
yep z32 forum, z32s only. question but.... the people in last years. well this years... are they allowed to re-enter? I would vote no as it would just be repeats each year of the same high profile cars
Wouldn't worry me if they were allowed to re-enter - provided it was with different pics. For me it's more about what the pics look like - hi quality pics of a standard, but good condition, Z would be better than average pics of an absoutely stunning Z. It all comes down to a forum vote anyway. It should be up to us other members to come up with pics that trump this years cars rather than rule them out.
because it come down to a vote I don't think there'll be an issue, as you noted. My opinion is that so long as the pics are fairly different to those that were in last year it should be ok. Not too familiar, if you catch my drift. Like different location or angle or recent modifications to the car. I'd like to hope i'll have my light painting setup ready soon so I can try and take some night shots
Ok, towards the end of this week I'll start a thread where people can start submitting their photos for the calendar. If you have any questions that arent answered in the original post of this thread then please PM me.
