Gday all, Any updates to this thread that affect submissions or information regarding the calendar will be updated by MODs to this post for easy tracking. Just wanting to get an EOI to see who'd like to purchase and/or submit photos for a 2011 Aus300zx forum calendar. There are quite a few cars that have had some big changes since last year and it'd be great to see some new entries this year. Just like last year, it will be left to a voting process to determine who makes it into the final calendar. Votes from the people who have committed to purchasing a calendar will decide which cars are featured. - Again I will be making a donation from the proceeds of every calendar sold back to the forum - To avoid the delays experienced last year, there will have to be a very tight deadline so that the calendars can be sent out in November. I'll post up a schedule once we see how much interest we have. Submission requirements: * Image Quality - Please ONLY submit images that have a high image quality. Images from mobile phones and low quality cameras can't be accepted as they will not print well. * Image Size - Please again ONLY submit images which have an original file size of at least 3000x2000 pixels (thats a 6mega pixel camera) and are in landscape (horizontal) format. * No. of Images - To keep things tidy, can each owner only submit a maximum of 4 images of each car. * Posting Images - When posting your images, please resize them to roughly 800x533 pixels so the thread can remain viewable for low bandwidth users. Images must be unedited within reason * Important Information - Any image submitted MUST be authorised for use in a comercial environment. Images taken by third parties must be approved before they can be used. All rights must be waivered for use in the calendar. * Images submitted must be of an individual car, group shots can't be used. * Submissions are open to Aus300zx.com registered member cars only. * Images must be DIFFERENT to those used in last years calendar to provide positive variety. * Selection Process - once submissions close, members who are purchasing the calendar will get to vote for their top 12 cars. The top 12 overall will then go to the next stage last updated 27/04/10 Note: Once submissions close, a RAW (un-modified) version of the images submitted must be sent or emailed for inclusion in the final selection process. Images may be edited once submitted as seen fit for use in the calendar. Cheers, Andrew
1. black baz will purchase a 2011 version of Kr4usy's magic ... and ...... 2. may try for some good pics of wifey's Dark blue convertible ...(sig pic is a poohey colour !!!) thanks heaps, Andrew ....
Me too I'd love to get one and I'll even submit some this year, my car has come a long way in the past 6 months and im sure it's not done yet :zlove:
this year, im in! only jsut got last years. not sure if i'll submit, only have tangcla shots. and the zed wont be on the road till next year
With the changing face of the scene (and a need for variety) will this be JUST Z32's again or open to the wider Z scene? Of course I have an obviouse reason for asking (duh) but it's not JUST that. I LOVED last years calander, but if Im honest, it did not make it onto any wall in my house. Just a nice keep sake. And the honest to god reason was that while the cars all looked good, 12 months of Z32's.....? Every page was diferent...but...the same i can't say it enough, it was an EXCELLENT calander but...just giving my honest feedback in what I personally think it lacked. I think it's fair to say that this forum IS made up now of Z car enthusiasts that own many kinds of Zeds, and gravitate here as one of the best Z communities in existance, reguardless of the name or the URL. Would I buy another 12 pages of Z32 images? probably not if I'm honest. Would I buy another 12 pages of anything from the 240Z to the 370Z?.....shit yes
i think stick to z32's. people go to buy a poodle calendar and expects 12 poodles. so a aus300zx calendar i'd expect 12 300zx's my car looks like crap so no pics from me this year... maybe next time
It would have to get voted in though, and be owned from someone on this forum. That pretty much limits it to Ugame and MrKarter with 350Z's and BlueZ with the 370Z... If people don't want it they won't vote for it
