Z32 interior built from wood http://twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2342119/Lots-of-pics.html Lot's of pictures that I found on some of the Japanese websites.
It was made by nissan's design department back during the development of the zed, would be done so they can sit in the model & check ergonomics, etc & once happy with they'd use it for internal design shows with management. I posted a b/w photo of it a while back in this thread some awesome photos in the tt.net link govaardz, thanks!
As Lidz mentioned it was constructed during the devlopment of the car to ensure ergonomics were suitable so it could be literally experienced. There is no specific engineering formula that can calculate how an interior feels, access to controls, visability, etc. With it being a Japanese car, it obviously felt OK to them as opposed by freaks like stretch, hyper101 and myself I marvel at the clay moulds R&D Teams do of the extrior of cars as they can be shaped and cut to achieve the look they are after. Just like this example of interior it can be tested for a multitude of puporses include wind tunnel testing for drga coefficients etc.
A few other interesting pictures from that thread....some on the cool or nice photo side, others just because its different...like this gull wing Z ...haven't seen any of them around, pretty unique. CorZette? :bash: Someones gone for the lambo exhaust look...ugly bends around the diff though. Cool photo... For all those headlight modders out there... I reckon whoever made this nose panel had just watched Total Recall with Anry...you know the part in the mutant bar with the 3 breasted alien woman :bash: Nice...damn thats a big intercooler!! Im guessing this ones going for a Ferrari exhaust look?? For the rear light center panel glowing 300ZX people...another couple of bits to make glow Another attempted Lambo conversion :vomit: Now thats fkn cool! Hey its blipmans old Z isn't it, the old show car...? Now thats badass if a bit over the top. Cheers! Craig
Awesome. I found most of the pictures 2 days ago I am going to post a link/pics where I found lots of concept pics for all the Fairlady Z models.
Hey Andrew ,Let me post some other things. I found a rear mounted engine conversion a Z32 with a VG30DE in the back
Few things that are pretty do-able.... The headlights with built in indicators would definitely work, just contact Gonzo and get the headlight bezel made with a gap for an LED strip for the indicator. Taillight that says "fairlady Z", as 300zxc mentioned would just be a vinyl over the light...or maybe even behind it..in red, so in the daytime it'll just look normal And the glowing badge...looks to be a stock nose badge, slightly lifted up and the "z" part sanded/stripped so it's transparent
