Hey, i have been planning on buying a zx n/a for a few months now and was wondering what legal mods on Red P plates (or mods which no1 will notice) i could do on it to improve performance? I still havent found a decent zx n/a to buy in qld yet that hasnt needed a ton of work for r/w etc. I have about 10grand to start with for now, what is the average price you would pay for a zx n/a in good condition? I have seen them with all sorts of prices around and i dont want to get ripped off. Cheers

IMO, leave it standard until you can buy a TT. You get WAYYYY more bang for buck modding a TT. Alternatively, get mods that you can swap over to a TT - ie wheels, exhaust, pod filter. I went down the road of modding an NA, while it was good then I really wished I'd kept the money for my TT now. Just my 2 cents. Also... legal mods??? Probably the only "legal" ones you can get these days are wheels (I struggle to think of anything else...) Mind you if you keep your head down and stay away from VIC/NSW you should be set for as many "illegal" mods as you want as long as you don't go overboard and don't attract police attention
