I will be making an appearance for this event, but I'll just drive out as need be. Only 50min away. I'll keep in touch with the itinerary as needed and work around that.

FYI There's an eerie old abandoned abattoir on the outskirts of Gunnedah which would make a cool photo op for those who like the 'nice car, ghetto background' type of shots. Cnr Farrer and Blackjack rd.

I have a letter of terrif in my hand that states $145.
If the receptionist is quoting $148 then there will be words.
I call them in the morning to see what is going on.

Anyone else been quoted $148 let me know please.

 

2% surcharge paying by card or what?

 

Spoke to Kaali (manager) this morning and she has assured me the price is $145 for the Queen rooms.
The only surcharge for cards is Dinners and American Express 3%
All other cards are NO surcharge.

One Spa room is booked already and the executive Spa was available.
Will be putting up a room list shortly, unless Lil-Baz helps .

I may represent the euro contingent...but I'll decide the day before if i will fly home for easter...i might book a spa room just in case.

What size is the SPA btw? these "SPA" rooms can be very misleading...a SPA isn't a SPA unless I can fit 5 people in there.

 

Without being rude Andy, the spa would probably fit you and a midget into it. Us younger guys already had the same intentions as you (big spa lots of female company). Checked the spa's out and it's a no go.

 

You're the closest thing to female company we will have on the weekend...

 

Don't go getting any ideas either. No funny stuff while I'm sleeping please.

My roster for Easter next year has smiled on me so I'll be in attendance. Will be nice being a participant this time appreciating all the hard work the organisers put in
