ok, what happens is pretty much when i start the car i need to give it a bit of gas to get the revs up and keep the car from stalling. whats the most likely cause for this ? thank you in advance.
check the batt isnt near flat... i remember my mates car we had to do that because his batt was half flat and the altenator was draining alot of current
AAC valve and Air Regulator - test as per FSM. Make sure the connectors are clean and tight, diassemble and service both units as per tech article(s).
are you using high octane unleaded? a bottle of injector cleaner might sort it out. I had a similar problem once.
yeah, i'm discovering how good a deal i actually got every time i drive her. took her to the local auto1 to pick up some oil, coolant and a few little things. found a few different service stickers throughout the engine bay, its already had a 200k service done and got a new radiator in 2007. got myself some penrite hpr 10 oil, big bottle of coolant, the air regulator cleaner and a sort of injector cleaner that also cleans the fuel system as well as the injectors. going to change the oil and coolant tomorrow morning and i'm waiting till i have to fill up again before i try the injector cleaner. when i picked it up the dealership put in half a tank so i'm guessing its e10, i topped it up with premium on the way home and will only fill it up with shell premium from now on.
