....just wondering is GTR suspension can fit on our Zed, if yes, is there any other GTR parts would fit on our Zed. Cheers 300aj
Not sure if it would but why the hell would you want to do it. GTR's are glorified shopping sedans with two doors missing where the zed is an engineering marvel for its day and much much more sports or even super car like. If you are going to the hassle of getting new suspension get some coilovers or something you will notice a massive difference and be much better than any GTR stock suspension out there. sorry any GTR owners out there about the pun meant in good fun
You can fit an RB26 in there if you want... anything is possible with time and money. Sorry for the pointless post I'm bored,.. not sure about the suspension, I think the brakes can though. Chris
yep steering wheels, gear knob, pedals, breaks, wheels, seats, turbos, engine, everything except the chasis and AWD system. lol Anyways i got Tien coilovers, and having 20" wheels feels like im riding on 18's. Even Parramatta road feels better andi can take corners fast and harder thanks to the camber of 3.25% fronts without any chirping just occasionnal wheel spin. But i had alot of customising to the wheels to acheive that but anyways, invest in good coilovers and forget gtr suspension
I'm not after GTR stock suspension, cos I want to get suspension for my Zed doesn't matter new or 2nd hand so if GTR suspension is fit I can go for a broad search....but anyway thx guys Cheers 300aj
r32 GTR suspension fits but there is still a slight difference in size of the bottom bolt on the rear shocks as far as i know (ie the GTR uses a larger diameter one or something)
I could be wrong but I have a feeling that things like the R32 Godzilla would eat a Z if both were in stock form. It's what makes GT-R parts so desirable, alot of them (brakes are the ultimate example) a just better than what the Z has on it. Though I don't know that the GTR suspension is streets ahead of ours, we both have the mutli-link front and rear for example.
Well the R32 GTR's brakes are the same as the 93+ Z's (aluminium and the same size) the R33 V-Spec had the nice brembos. Suspenson is essentially the same between the two, though I have heard that the GTR stuff has different spring rates and will play havoc with the zed, not too sure on this though. One of my good mates recently bought a R32 GTR and I must say I was quite dissapointed, not as quick as quick as a stock TT with exhaust and pod...
