you need to do a search on missing and hesitation and read up in the tech section.

    here is a start:

Can be many things but first check for boost leaks and make sure your plugs are gapped right. maybe do a bypass on your fpcu to see if that helps. have you done anything recently for your car to do this?

if its happening under load I would check the AFM and check for boost leaks, these have been my main problems when ever I have had this isue on other turbos cars aswell not just the Z
( thats if yours is turbo )

Series 1 ptu? - If so, change to series 2.
    FPCU bypassed (as Chris mentioned)
Tried new plugs? (And gapped right as Chris mentioned)
Replace FPR with a known good unit - Ross should have plenty of these. May as well swap out the dampener while ur there too...
    Replace fuel filter

If still no good, consider swapping out the fuel pump, try another set of coilpacks, clean up all your connectors and try another AFM...

you can still do a boost leak test on it to make sure all your pipes are sealing properly and there is no small hoses that have come off

yeah im going round saturday to give it a once over and help him polish the paintwork before the cruise..........

could be fuel filter (hasnt been changed in a while) or maybe even the fuel pump as the car has done 270,000kms (aus spec, so genuine)
