Ok so it's been a while since I was on here and I finally got my Z back from the body shop and I will post pics as it comes together. I just need a new clutch and to put the motor back in. I was going to fit bigger hair dryers, but I ran out of money in these tough times and, well the stock ones are still in perfect condition. So anyway as soon as I get past my retardedness and learn how to post some pics I will put em up
Hey parker, Didn't know you were still around lol... You didn't get your zed done at Moro's did ya? Cause I had mine done there and I saw another zed in there getting fixed...had been there for some time.. Yeah get some photos up, there is a "sticky" in most sections on how to post photos.. Here ya go http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=251426
Yeh that was prob mine in there. It took me ages to get the money together, so I told them to take their time lol. It came out nice tho. Just got to put it back together
Good to see you figured out how to post pics ... Looking good, did you get the whole thing resprayed? Will be good once it's back on the road
Ok so this week I am getting the clutch rebuilt and then the engine is going back in. Hoping that I will have it all said and done and ripping down the road in around a fortnight. I will keep you posted and put some pics up. Btw the wheels are getting replaced as a mate of mine bought exactly the same ones. So I am going to put some massive dish and big rubber on the rear! Can't wait
Cool, that makes you and Mick both putting your engines back in lol..ahh well -2 zeds off the road in Benders for now..
Ok so here is where I am at it's been a while but I am getting there. Now since I had the car in getting some work done on the body for a set price, there were some parts that have not been put back on the car. I have nearly put it all back together except for these few brackets. Now since I didn't take them off I have no idea where they are from. Anyone got any ideas? NO laughing at my cheapskateness either!
Second and thrid pics are standard intercooler brackets, the little thing in your hand sits beside the right sway bar mount bush, don't know what it is supposed to do but.
Is it OK to laugh at your broom stick bonnet prop ? Keep at it mate, I'll see you on the 7th of Feb Goldfields cruise ??
Hey Mick Ha ha I was waiting to see who would be first to notice my broomstick bonnet prop. I am working hard to get it ready by the 7th. regardless I will be there. Just hope it doesn't have to be in a different car. I already decided to leave the aircon out for a while to save time lol
