My car only seems to want to shift to overdrive on very little or no throttle or going down hills when the revs will drop substantially. For most of my highway driving it seems to want to stay in 3rd gear which is a pain in the backside on a long trip. I like the exhaust note but not for hour after hour! Is this normal or is there some shift change adjustment that can be made? I'd appreciate some ideas.
