QLD Z Sprints at Lakeside 17 October

Z Car Club Q Inc has organised and booked two groups for Z cars to run in this event at the bargain price of $110 for a full day plus a BBQ and other goodies, normal cost through the Lakeside owners is $189 with no extras. The second group will be for newbies, no pressure and there will be experienced drivers around to help if required.

Basically your road registered Z will be fine providing its in good condition and runs at no more than legal noise limits, more info to follow as required.

 

The cost is $130 each not $110, the original quote from the owners did not include pit garage space at an extra $40 each which we negotiated down to $20. Two blocks running 15 cars each have already been filled so the club is looking at another block.

The BBQ is subject to approval, we are also looking at running a Z parade around the circuit during the lunch break.

 

Third block is filling quickly, several Z32's have entered which is good, about 60% of the total so far are Zeds of various models but need more Z31's and 350/370Z's. Don't forget, newbies will be catered for

Drivers will need a car or motorcycle crash helmet, non flammable clothing like cotton with long sleeves and legs and driving type boots.

i should be able to attend this if there is still any spots left i havent done lakeside yet
