The US also did not get slicktop TT's Only NA slick tops were released in the US. The again Australia didn't get any 2 seater NA's, or Twin Turbo's (2 or 2+2) or Slick tops (NA or TT) or convertibles or any of the special performance editions. We did get a 25th Anniversary model though so I guess that is something.
wasnt the 25th Anniversary a local designed product Nissan Asutralia said "We want this and the units to be under such and such price" and Nissan Japan vola your getting this bear bones model with fancy stickers. shadow
:LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL: First thing I did was to look at the wheels!
More to it than that ... The 25th Anniversary model released in Aussie is a derivative of the SMZ 25th Anniversary model released in the USA. SMZ stands for Steve Millen Z, and he owns Stillen. The US version was a 2 seater TT - in Oz if course it was a 2+2 NA. The Oz version wasn't just a stickers exercise - Stillen supplied body kits (front bar, nose panel, skirts, rear wing, rear bar cover), Yokohama AVS 17's with wider Yokie rubber and revised suspension (springs and sway bars). Oh yeah, and stickers . There were 300 SMZ's for the US, and Nissan Aust did 40 25th Anniversary models locally.
