'Z' - EOI of a GB with Z1 and AMS.....!

    Hi Paul Very interested in Z1 Sidemount Intercoolers SMIC set. I can buy local smic but by the time you buy new hoses and clamps it would be very close to getting a Z1 set.

    chip

    is it worth getting a chip for an na 90 model, the jwt is 550 whereas the z1 eprom is only 200? does anyone have any experience with either chip

    Kaminari Side Skirts (and door fillers) and Stillen GTZ Rear Valance. - 2 seater versions required

    Definately up for these depending on the time the GB starts and when we need to pay (I am in between jobs atm so it'll be good that this starts after I got my new job)....

    For ease of calculation (for Paul), the total cost (pre discount, shipping, per website stated amounts) is $678 for the above.

    I'd be hesitant to get a chip with a performance tune when it won't exactly match what you have. Plus unless your ECU is already socketed then you'd have to get that done before swapping in the chip. I thought you had to send your ecu to them for a swap over anyway with JWT and most places chipping the stock ECU's.

    IMO I just think its better in the long term to get a real tune done based on your car rather than someone elses.

    the chip is for a z32 non turbo 90-96...

    yes i would have to socket myecu, but they can just send the chip via post and i could get it put in here, or i could go locally shopping for the same chip, im just asking if anyones had any experience with either of the chips

    What they mean is that the chip you will purchase was for someone elses z32 non turbo 90-96. Not your non turbo 90-96. Every car is different from the moment they rolled out the factory. An aggressive yet safe tune on one non turbo 90-96 could be engine destroying for another non turbo 90-96.
