I looked at your post and thought, I swear I linked it instead because it was too big...lol I was right.

So clean. Makes me want to buy Chrispy or Wildzx's red slick top and slowly rebuild it over time to look like that....but with 2k bar up front and 2k lights front and back. so clean.

My liking of stock clean zeds has grown a lot lately. Would still want to modify mine though. There would always be that urge to change something here and there.

 

Hey - your on the money!

You smart little clever man - no pulling the wool over your eyes - You have the eye for detail - yes thats the original!

I feel exactly the same way, perhaps modding them over time gives you a certain kind of respect that you didnt have before, having found out along the way from pulling things apart that they were truly well designed.

I appreciate the stock Z more than I did before even though I too would mod mine out if I started again.

Beautiful car. I'm sorry but I have to say it would look better without the side skirts though. Or maybe add the door fillers? They just look a bit "tacked on".

 

Wouldn't be 2k spec if he added door fillers, or removed the skirts.

I used to hate how they stuck out but they have grown on me heaps lately.

Something just dont look right with this Z - its as if the wheels were smaller than stock or something, as there seems to be large gaps between the wheel arch and tire?

Can I assume the suspension is stock and it just looks lowered from the front bar sitting down low?

I tend to agree with AbrisZ in that the side skirts are not quite right - it looks like they are out to far compared to the rest of the car, maybe fillers would offset it.

What I mean is for the best look - ideally the tires/mags should be the widest part of the car like most hot looking Z's, not the side skirts. Thats just my opinion though.

No harm intended at all, Im just trying to help and think you could fix this up and it would look a 100 times better, thats all.

Adam has gone to extreme effort with his car to replicate a 2000 spec zed. Changing any specific feature would then mean it was not an authentic replica.

 

Keeping true to his theme of replicating a 2k spec zed, so far as to putting 2k spc stickers in the engine bay, I would say the suspension is stock height. The car also has the Adjustable suspension option on it too. This was an option in the states and it adjusted the dampers I believe.

 

Point taken. I had no idea that the side skirts were part of the 2K spec....very surprised. I can see why he has them on the car now.
