Yet another boring Insurance related Q

I'm just wondering how adjustable insurance companies can be.

Shannons would not insure my car as no garage. Even if I did say, cover me only when NOT at that address (so if it got stolen at my address, i'd wear it, but if in an accident or stolen anywhere else, i'd be covered). They still wouldn't do it for some reason although you would think the car would be much less of a risk to insure (and would hope much cheaper) with that kind of policy.

Anyone here in insurance or knows of an insurance company thats not so inflexible and can taylor a policy the way I'd like it? I would have really liked Shannons as they do agreed values. I want to exhaust any other possibilties first before I say I live somewhere else (somehow my brother got his svx insured with them at twice what its worth and policy says 'car is in a carport' so I cant exactly tell them I live in a garage as it wouldn't be hard to piece together that there isn't one at that address).

    dont go with shannons

shannons are crap, some people get really good deals with them and others get so F****** around its not funny.

When me and my bro got our Twin Turbo imports we rang around to all the places and found that insurance places for classic cars are alot bettter. I went through Classic car insurance and imports, bros with Famous car insurance. They allow you to put the value you want on the car and im sure they would be flexible with other things aswell, after all they probably do insure 60 year old cars for insane amounts of money.
