i just recently bought a 89 2+2 t/t a/t....after ironing out a few bugs its running smooth, i originally bought it to drop the motor in my n/a....butt it seems to be in good order, so....im keeping it..."im so impressed ! so....the previous owner re positioned the ptu and spliced new wires to the plug, but has left a orange wire just hanging... any knowledge as to what and why its been excluded? please "if any one interested check it at my garage....." thanks

It sometime takes a little while for the guys to respond. The thread title does not really give away the question asked in this thread. Based on the thread link frysie put up, check to see all the wires are connected and have a look at where the orange wire goes. PS where in NSW are you located?

my guess is that its the afm wires as the orange one doesnt get used. looks like it might have been extended
well...damn ! you certainly know your zeds your spot on i should give myself an uppercut! i gave the wrong information....and it IS the afm plug orange wire
