I've found that there are two 300ZX yellows:
    EH7 Yellow Pearl

And some other yellow that seems to only be on late-model Jap cars. I can't find out much about it, I'm guessing because a lot of the really comprehensive paint code lists are from the US, so the post-96 colors aren't listed.

Are there any more late model colors out there?

The other yellow is called Lighting yellow (EV1) , I'd love a zed in that colour :p

Ooh, it appears you're right. Thanks :D
Even with the code, there's very little out there about it. It seems it was likely used on some Skylines and 180s as well.

It just so happens that I got my car resprayed in EV1. I'll chuck up a build thread soon.

EV1 was used by the S15, R34 and Z10 Cube. Might be a couple of other JDM models that used it, but definitely not many.

Had a look around, found it mentioned here on Czech Republic website (search EV1), says it was used 1999-2002.

Some more pics of a Z in that colour:

For those that are interested, this is the difference between EH7 and EV1:

    Nope. It's a solid yellow.

That's awesome, thanks! It seems all the EV1 Zs have that mirror mount painted, rather than black. Odd. Maybe it was a 99 thing, when they lost the moustache on the bumper too.

Interesting, do others know about when this change was made? Looks good with the mirror mounts colour-matched.

Yep :) I wanted to be as thorough as possible with this respray. Pretty much everything that was painted body colour got stripped down.

Nope, but as the original colour was EH7, it's not terribly noticeable anyway. Besides, it won't be a show car ;)

Why'd you get a respray over EH7!? EH7 is a lovely color! Rare too.
