Went out to WSID last night first time ever drag racing Had a blast to my mate Chris (Chr1s) and a couple of friends and had some fun.. Also saw JT out there giving it a ago little dissapointed that i only got 3 runs they were definatly at capacity all the lanes were pretty much open but i was still pretty happy with the 15.152 i got in my Japppy NA Manual.. Running 30psi in street tires so i think there is some definate room for improvement on the 60 foot of 2.288.. Next time will definatly be running into the 14's.. Anyway heres some picks everyone

Nicely done James. Did you do another compression test ? still ~210 ? I did not follow the thread. Ive only managed a 15.9 long time ago, eager to go again when i have all the bits installed and get my license back, ahahaha, 1 more month to go. You up for another run when i go aswell ? hopefully soon.
yeah Ron still hasnt left me i was kinda nervous the first time but it all happened so quickly.. then i got in trouble by the crew on the way back because i was going to fast in the return lane the speed limit is 20 pretty hard to keep under that after a run the car behaved really well and the stock clutch took the punishment but everytime i shifted into 4th it crunched Can wait to go Back (after some work ) Cheers James

nice time Wikkid time slip mate. Interesting to see that a NA 300ZX is pretty much nearly as fast as my Turboed 1.8ltr 180SX was. Man how much fun is doing a 1/4 mile hey. I was buzzing with excitment for ages after my first run.... even though I blew the head that night lol.
if u dont mind, whats been done to ur NA......coz thats pretty close to stock TTs....as i believe they do close to 14s.
hmmm to date its only a apexi pod and GFB crank pulley, with the mandatory 100k service.. got more things waiting to go on just need time i have my HSC trials in 2 weeks so i need to study Cheers James
haha....lol...i remember this time last yr........yep getting into the forum aint the best things around the time.....but then again it can be a place to get your mind off studies, and onto cars, which in my case was bad as my mind was more about the zed........ GL wityour trials.......what are you planning to do after HSC, as in career wise????
