Glad ur ok man That looks f**** nasty! As the guys have said, you'll be able to part her out (sorry to hear about the lack of comprehensive). Has probably been said too, but ask a few of the more experienced guys on here with regard to going about it - quicker you get some $$ back the better you'll feel Just think it coulda been a lot worse, gotta love the Z :zlove: Cheers & commiserations, Rich
So glad you're all OK (relatively speaking)! They're a strong old beasty, aren't they? If you had to pick a spot to hit something, you've picked the best... right on the subframe... strongest part.
sorry to hear the car is replacable, you're not.. sorry to see your zed in that shape, but hey, your alive, you'll get another zed eventually, and you've learnt a valuable lesson. BEST of luck!!
Crap... so sorry to hear mate... if you want a quick solution consider selling it to John at Cresta as a complete wreck. You won't get as much as if you part it out yourself but it would be relatively painless. If you decide to part it out yourself, you're probably looking around $4-5K. Things like engine/gearbox are big $ items... Or you could (as you said) sell it as is to another member as a project. I'd be interested but too much structural damage for me... When you've recovered, consider your options and let everyone know. You'll get the full support of everyone here... chin up, your next zed is just around the corner...
Dam that hurts just looking at it! sorry to hear. Yes they get away from you very easy these beasts. Glad your ok. MattB
I am so sorry for your loss dude. I hope that things look up for you, but am very glad that you and your friends managed to walk away from this.
Sorry to hear about this. Thankfully you all walked away. I hope you can get back zedding soon. Good luck with it all.
OH MY! I thought i was the one who i had no luck with the ZED, Sorry to hear that. Don't think any more about it, it's nothing serious as you are all right. good luck
where is the car now?? So sorry to hear hey, hope you arnt paying the car off too,????? Is it in a towing yard in Noosa? Live in noosa so let us know if its around, might drive past and have a look.
Condolences mate Like everyone else has said, glad you were all able to walk away from what could have easily been a fatal accident. Unfortunately there isn't much margin for error when driving a powerful car. Glad you have found a positive from such a grim event, but sorry you learnt the hard way. Chin up, Jono
That looks like a fairly high speed crash..>> I thought chicanes were put in place to slow people down ??? Anyway regardless of the above comment, I'm sorry to hear about your crash. Cheers Andrew
