2 gauge pillar holders are ok, if the 3rd one extends past the steering wheel it's illegal cause it's in the impact zone or something like that.

Follow-up question: wouldn't having 2 gauges still be illegal being above (still) the steering wheel level?

 

edit: disregard post, I just read through the older posts

 

I think he means that in terms of when the driver's in the car, the top guage is a shorter distance to the driver than the steering wheel rather than being above it height wise, meaning in case of an accident the driver could smack into it... rather than the steering wheel, which is preferable apparently

... but don't quote me on that

 

the local boys in blue in Gero pull up any pillar mounted gauges, their line is nothing above the dash top dash mounted pods are okay though - go figure.

Indiglo gauge faces. However, the primary speed reading is in MPH. KPH is in smaller writing on the inner circle of the speedo.
