    Hi Gang :),
I have 265/35 18s on my rear mags at the moment, will 245/40 18s fit on them? Sorry don't know much about tyres :). Thanx for any advise.
    Cheers Fran :):zlove:

    Benny_C About as subtle as...

    definately will.

you'll get a bit of stretch over the wheel though (the drifter look :p), and more chance of gutter rash, if you rub up a gutter though as the rim protector rib on the tyres won't really be as effective - but it will fit though.

    They will fit Fran.

But you'll have a bit of tyre stretch (rims will be wider than tyres).

It will fit, but why you want to put 245's on a a 9.5" wheel on the rear I don't know. 265 is the recommended fit, 275 and 255 are acceptable fits as well.

    Thanx guys

Thanx for your help :). As for the gutter rash Benny C, it is reduced heaps due to Hervey Bay having more slanted gutters then the older style, thankfully LOL! :D

Will the tyre stretch make them unsafe?

You'll need to be more dilligent on pressure. They need a higher tyre pressure to stay safe.

How much are the second hand tyres?

You can get good quality new 275's for $200 odd.
