i got them on my engine rite now , it works out way cheaper than getting yours recoed and there brand new genuine garret .we get ripped off so much on the price of turbo reconditioning here on various cars ive had its cost be between 800 and $1000 a turbo and these thye are brand new for under 500

Rebuild your turbos yourself using a T25 rebuild kit....

which can be purchased from e-bay or by searching the net. Very easy to do.

One hint... To remove the exhast housing very easily, soak the whole turbo in petrol or 2 stroke for about 1-2 days. This helps the exhaust housing bolts to be undone very easily and every thing else also. In addition, place the turbo cartridge in a strong acid solution to clean it up like new. As well as the impeller shaft. All the rust and caked on greace will disappear and all will be like new. Do this before installing the new parts.

Carefully install the new parts and then take the cartridge with the shaft and propeller to the nearest turbo place and ask them to balance for you.

You will receive the whole lot back in one piece ready to fit the Exhaust and Compressor housings. Done!!!!

Total cost? Most likely $60 for both rebuild kits = $120 and about $60-100 for balancing each turbo. Now this is expensive, no?

Oh. use a 360° step seal instead of the pissy one they normally fit. Purhase 2x from where ever you get the kits from. About $17 each.

The turbos will then outlast your car provided that you change the oil every 5,000 or 10,000 kms and use rust inhibitor in the coolant.

I did it and the turbos work BEAUTIFULLY.
Rebuild turbos are not any different to new ones.
If this is not true, then I will never ever ever rebuild my engine or anything else for that matter. Oh and when my tyre goes flat, I will sell the car for another one!! - a new one that is.
