that HOLDEN-VL commodore throtle bodies are 54.5mm diameter stock. And the beauty of it is the bolt holes lign up perfectly and the TPS setup is EXACTLY the same. There will be a need to play with the throtle heater hose hookup, because VL's have only one hose in one out, zeds have three hoses under the TB's. And some playing arround with the twin throttle body setup will be required but it's nothing difficult. And you can drill them out even more if you wish to do so. Hope this saves you some money. See Ya!
Are you positive that it fits no problems and you've already done it and working fine? The last time i did some research there was a guy that thought it was all good but found out hte holes didnt line up because ours is rectangle and theirs is sqaure. or something along those lines. That would be great use if they work , ill dig up my documents there is one off another car that is even bigger then the vls and shares the same pattern.
Won't fit...tried it>> The horizontal width of the bolt holes is right but the vertical height is nowhere near. Plus if you line up the top bolt holes then the centre of the throttle body isnt aligned with the centre of the hole in the plenum. I can post pics if needed. Cheers, Matt
Haven't tried yet but i did some measurements and it was promising i will look into it in more detail and post the results.
