g'day, had this random whirring noise, couldn't quite work out what it was but it has been bugging me for months. finally discovered what it is. when i switch my fan/air con from the different positions (feet/body/face etc) it makes a whirring noise. anyone else had this? anyone know what it is? anyone know how to fix it? cheers.
where is the whirring coming from? was it inside the engine bay and was it loud? mine started doing this, then a week later i no more a/c a/c compressor may be on it's way out.
it will be the a/c compressor i had my a/c compressor replaced and a whirring noise started every time i turned my a/c on. queried it with the a/c service place and they replaced the compressor again and have had no problems since!! :thumbsup:
