what kind of paints are you all using , i pay about $220 for a 5l clear kit ( it only takes about half that to do a zed ), and colour ranges drastically some of the modern zirelic pearl paints are quite dear but there is alot of metalics out there that dont cost alot and solid 2k black or white are cheap as . Unless your using a crazy colour and lots of primer it should cost a fair bit under $1000 in materials .
PPG and House Of Kolor was used on mine... dont know how much the stuff is worth, i just know PPG is made for Australian climates so its very fade resistant, especially for a red car...
no idea , i normaly use the chem spec clear , i used octral last time and didnt notice much differnce . Its the same brands a guy i know uses in his shop on everything and his never had a problem .
