    Legal

At least where the ACT is concerned

What are you trying to proove in this post anyway? How valued your contributions are that make this forum such a better place? I suppose you had specific permission to stick the owner of that photo and car up, if so then its all good. If not, then find another photo IMO and grow up.

As far as I know, atmospheric blow off valves are perfectly ok in the ACT anyway, so the answer is depending on the state of registration.

Dont tell me we've got a band of people here now looking down on peoples cars judging them like this and plastering them up on the forum. You dont see me doing this to people who may have gutted or removed their cats, so while your at it, why not put those pictures up??? In fact, why dont you give us a list of your cars mods and we can all sit back and judge it as well.

Mate. Pic's on the Internet are in the Public domain

It was handy so I used it Get over it!

Now my current Car VY Calais (with no mods) has no problems with the Law!

And My Dirt Bike has rego and is Stock as a block!

My point here is to edcuate people on the forum!

There is a way to have blow off valves . its called a map sensor!!!

Pull your Head in and let us have a learning experance!

    Anthony

I will also check the legislation in ACT for you.

    Just saying

the owner of that pic could request to the mods to have it pulled and the mods could (if they are descent mods,) pull it off at the request of the owners car. I didn't think this forum was a place for this sort of thing. Perhaps a non members pic or a picture of the BOV in question would have been of less consequence??? And provided the same benefits for learning purposes dont you think??? I doubt the internet is short of these pictures.

I am just waiting for someone who doesn't like me very much to plaster my pictures in a manner you just did of my car on the forum (in a negative light just to try and get people to agree with them on another argument in another part of the forum)!!

I am more interested in your 12.3 sec 1/4 mile zeds mods, and how you attained it without breaching any legalities. Why dont you teach us all that so we can learn how to mod our cars and keep em legal like that??

    Come off it

And they could also cry for there Mum!!!

Its on the internet then it is IN THE PUBLIC DOMAIN. People forget this.......

Im not trying to get anyone to agree with me. I want people to learn more about Zed's

As for my Old Z, It was not legal. I had the Car tested at the EPA with the Water and Methonol mix and It passed. I have the EPA notice to. A testimate to the Effort put into the Hi Tec ECU. The blow off valves were not. I assertained that I could use a MAP sensor and still use BOV. As the Air entering the cumbustion chamber is still being metered. The only problem was finding a cost effective solution. I decided to get rid of the car for various reasons, So I never made it legal.

    I thought you liked bearback!!!

    Legality

Environmental pollution can be emissions of noise as well as toxic gases.
The laws regarding motor vehicles in Australia cover both. Different areas have varying proscribed standards and testing procedures and one cannot judge from a picture.
The other matter is usage. A vehicle may be fine for off road and competition use but not legal on a public street.
