will fit a Z. All the ones that I look at are too thin to go all the way down the lever. (Manual)

    Hows Your Knob? :zlove:

Are you interested in a BRAND NEW stock manual knob.

    The ones I make :-
    * Screw directly on, no aftermarket fittings required.
    * Have numbers that wont wear off.
    * A knob that wont peel.
    * Has the look and feel of the stock Knobs but with all these extras.

    * Available STOCK = Black
    * Full range of custom colours to suit your Zed
    * Can custom match knobs with boots if you are looking for something very unique.

    Not all will fit

well, they'll fit, but they won't go all the way down to the boot as the standard gear knob is quite long. The easiest solution is to buy a knob that is already quite long (such as a Navan, Zeddudettes, etc) or you can just buy a generic one and put something under the boot just to push it up. Alternately, if you buy a new boot it won't be worn into it's current position, so it should stay fairly high up to meet the shorter aftermarket knob.

More on Knobs, tried to edit but it/s NOT WORKING :zlove:

Here's some pics on more choices:-

Range of unique colours, like gold, silver, pearlescent.

Then some with colours to match your Boots.

    Something to consider.

They do feel good, I mean they were designed for this job.

    One Size Fits all

All my knobs are the one size. They are exactly as per the original stock knob sizing all the way down to shape and size.

I just offer far more features and benefits than the original product.

And mine doesn't wear wiht the extreme's of the Australian sun.

    Z-Tek...

    www.z-tekmfg.com

They have some really nice ones with Z logos on them.
Lots of other stock as well.

Also look at the Spec Shop.
    www.thespecshop.com

Both places will ship to Australia and have really good service.

Also if your looking for shift boots try redlinegoods.com another place with great service.

Nice Prices too. (Actually really good prices with current exchange rates)

As far as supporting members is concerned...

I think we should wherever possible support 'cottage industry' forum members like Zeddude'ette instead of external companies ...

Zeddude'ette produces a very high quality standard of products rivalling anything mass produced, what's more she will customise/tailor to suit your requirements and provide excellent backup after sale service. Price is extremely competitive... There are quite a few members rolling around withh Zeddude'ette products. Just ask Chili or MikeZ if you want any further recommendation...

Keep it in the family, I say![IMG]

    I agree, however...

I agree with what you said, but it is always nice to have other options.

All Z-Tek products are all custom made, they have their set range that they sell but you can have anything custom made.

    They are worth checking out.

I know that this is different for the Z32's but as far as Z31's go, there are very few companies that sell anything even related to Z31's, so I have to go outside of the country. All of the companies that I mentioned are from Z31.com and are very well respected on this message board.

Not meaning to take away from local companies and members but sometimes it can be good to see what other options are out there.

I hope I'm not offending anyone here because I'm not meaning to.

    I'm sure zeddude'ette took no offence, Darren>

    >it's just with all the new members joining lately, they may not know we have this kind of expertise within the forum.

PS: Worth contacting zeddude'ette if you need a special knob made up. (umm, that didn't come out right at all- but you know what I mean...)[IMG]

    I agree...

If you can get a product local, from a well respected source, which zeddude'ette obviously is, then go for it.

By the way, those shift boots and gear knobs look really nice.

If I hadn't just bought an aluminium one then I might have looked into a custom one from you.
