Sway bars, stabiliser, anti-roll bars? they are all the same thing. As the name suggests their objective is to reduce sway, or bodyroll, and stabilise a vehicle under lateral (cornering) forces. To often this is thought to be the role of shocks and springs when it is solely the swaybars job.

Whiteline Swaybars will make your suspension system and tyres perform better, making the car more responsive while delivering more grip.

Whiteline Swaybars are manufactured in Australia using the finest grade Australian spring steel. They are powder coated and supplied with high performance polyurethane mounting bushes in a DIY kit form, ready to simply bolt on.

    PRICE :

Whiteline Front Sway Bar, 27mm solid, Heavy Duty, 3 way blade adjustable $210.00

Whiteline Rear Sway bar, Heavy Duty, solid 22mm $152.00

Spherical Bearing rod end type link kit for the front bar $135.00

** These prices are for minimum 10 of each item. **

However can someone confirm if a person with coilovers and strut braces will notice a difference? I'm sure there are a few in my position...

2+2 and 2 seater sway bars are the same.
The adjustable link kit is like the one Coz sells. You don't need it to fit the sway bar, but some people have been inquiring about them so I included them. Purely optional Simmo.

I ve been looking in to this for awile...

Finally caz save the day again :D

I am very interested in set of fronts and back...

Although do I really need the back ones hmmm I wonder, most of the flexing would be in the front I would imagine. Anythoughts ?

if could get me some prizes for delivery to perth metro. That would be awesome.

The role your coil overs and strut brace have are very different to the role your sway bars play in how your car handles.

Might be good to post your question in Z-Related as people that already have aftermarket sway bars may not read this post??? It would be good to hear what they have to say :)

Shaq, working it out on 14kg, $28 freight for both bars to Perth Metro. If there were a few of you in WA getting them it would work out cheaper to send all to one place.

Stiffer front swaybar will induce understeer. Stiffer rear swaybar will induce oversteer. Depends on how you want the car set up.

Anyone want these sooner than 3-4 weeks? I have a couple of guys that want these asap, they dont want to wait for the GB to run full time.

    Anyone else impatient??

im thinking of this caz, haha. Just not sure if i got the dosh to spread it all out. Just a question is it a necessity to have the rear links? Also would it make any difference ideally? Im a real newb when it comes to suspension sorry:( .

The links are only for the front Pete, and they are something you could fit later if you wanted to, they arent essential to get the benefits of the sway bar. They are one of those 'fine tune' things.

I thought a beefed up front sway bar would improve understeer.

I thought that by beefing up the front sway bar, the front end would reduce it's weight shift tendancies. The byproduct of front end weight shifting is usually understeer. Therefore, if weight shifting is minimized by a beefed up front sway bar, the understeer should also be reduced. Am I looking at this the wrong way?

My Tanabe front bar definately improved turn-in and reduced the cars tendancy to "push" in corners.

I shoulda been more specific. A stiffer front bar relative to the rear bar will induce understeer. A stiffer rear bar relative to the front bar will induce oversteer.
