Which vinyl wrap design for my Zed?

    Hi everyone,

I'm turning my Zed into my business car. Originally, I bought my TT to strip for competing in some hill climbs etc. This one was in such good condition (for the price), it would've been criminal to butcher it.

I was going to buy an NA up until recently to turn into a daily driver but I haven't found one in good enough condition (either the motors are nearly gone or the interiors were hacked to pieces). I love the NAs as they're great cruisers and ok on fuel. They are also still eye catching. I wanted one that's very clean and original. I've given up and the TT will now be my daily driver for the business.

Inspired by murci and a few other suggestions, I've decided to half wrap my TT car in vinyl. I took murci's advice and used my graphic artists that I usually use for websites to do part of the design before handover to a signage company for printing and application. Saved on time and design costs.

My question is: What design do you prefer? Note that these pictures are not of my car. The designs were photoshopped by the artist on to some Zed photos as a mock up. My car is black however so the photoshopped pictures give a realistic impression.

Thanks for the input so far. Surprised about the overwhelming support for option 1 so far! I'll hit the thanks button but let me know if I have left you out after you commented.

    Def no.1

Keep the design/logo within the door area for best results imo, looks good!

1 is OK because it sort of flows with your logo....
3 has potential, tweak it a bit and it could look pretty good, especially since it'll be coordinated with the bonnet part of the graphics, and the computery graphics relates to your business.

Also why does your website work when it's "letec.biz" but not work on "www.letec.biz" ?

    Yep! I'm with the herd,

1: Is eye-catching and doesn't detract from the Zed styling.

3: Is very distinguished and sophisticated(without being as "in your face" or hard on the eyes.

2: Belongs on the cover of "The Mt. Druitt Book of Classy Stuff"(Sydney will know what I mean).:rofl::rofl::br::br:

Hey mate. Interesting thought about the 3rd option!

If letec.biz works, then www.letec.biz should work. It's to do with domain name management (too technical and boring for a car forum). They both work for me. What error message did you get?

    Cheers.

The Thanks button has now gone. I think you can only hit it so many times per thread. Anyway. Thanks to everyone so far who has given feedback. I'll wait until tomorrow to make a decision.

    Go for something striking mate.

Mix option 3 and this. You want it to get attention right..for ur business. I like the green on black (not that exact green, alittle darker).

    Hopefully provides some stimulating thoughts...

    Hey Matt
With the talent you have with vinyl I am surprised that isn't your car.

    Hey Cruiser,

If I had to pick one I would go with option 1....but I don't really like any of them sorry :(

If I were you, I'd have a chat to Kr4usy and see if he can help you come up with an awesome striking design that actually compliments the Z's curves...that's my thoughts on the matter anyway ;)

Even give him a ring, it's kind of what he does anyway...professional photography and graphic design for a wide range of products from websites to physical products, he was going to vinyl his own car for his business and had a pretty wicked design so I reckon he could probably whip up something pretty cool for yours.

All the best with it anyway

    Cheers,

    Craig
