hey guys was wondering what type of HID bulbs i need to change mine from stock? coz i've been looking on ebay but whenever i use that compatibility thing it says non compatible, i drive a 1990 z32 na 2seater targa if it makes a difference? any help would be muchly appreciated coz i wanna get both high and low beams, and one more thing...... is it worth getting HID foggies as well?
Aus delivered and Jap Spec use different fog light bulbs. Use the search - this has been answered multiple times.
If searching, look for 'HIDS', as 3 letter searches (HID) won't work regarding this particular subject.

As far as HID is concerned, the Fog are always H3, as there is no H3C in HID terms. The H1 install for the high beams is a challenge as the Z uses a special bulb holder and it's the holder that gets clamped into the lamp assembly. Since the HID doesn't/can't use the holder, it's difficult to get the bulb held in tightly to the assembly without some imagination. Low beams are a piece of cake. Fogs require some drilling through the back of the outer casing to get the wires through, but not really a great issue
