    Hey hey boys and girls,

Last straw was taken from me. My wallet has been stomped to death by pain in the ass mechanics and auto-elecs. Can anybody ANYBODY please give me the name of a reputable place that i can take my baby ('89 TT man) too.

Located in Albury/Wodonga, between Sydney and Melbourne on the border. Somewhere close would be great but i can find anyone.

Last time had to travel 250km on a trailer just to find someone with some knowledge to get her going again so i dont mind a little travel.

    Cheers,
    Matt :help:

    Fellow albury/wodonga

Hay, sorry you are having so much trouble.
My car is a black tt 2+2 manual (ZEDDLY).
I'm in Albury and though am new to zeds (less than 12months), I've been doing 95% myself on my own.
I'm no expert, though I can offer a car to compare for fault finding and a second set of hands/eyes if you need them. I'm an electrician/fridge mech with auto elec training and have a few tools at my disposal.
Good to know there is another forum member local

    Thanks mate,

Yeh ive seen a black TT round every now and again. kills me coz then a wanna drive mine:p Yeh, same here, good to know that there are a few locals around, most of the ones that ive seen round here have been N/A's tho. For the most part i think that the pump and/or fuel regulator have given the gong, so i was gunna see if i could source out a new set and give that a go, maybe even get the conzult program goin. Might give you a hoy and orgaise a meet with ye.
    Cheers,
    Matt

You are not the only local

    around Albury.
I'm there very regularly...:D as Matt knows.
I have seen a White, another Red & a Blue Zed, all in Albury over the last year. Even put a few forum cards under windscreens, when I noticed no forum stickers.

It was a phone call from his Dad to me, that put him on the right path with his problem Zed.
Another forum member, who Matt took his car too, also owns several zeds & is a reputable mechanic from Cooma, that finally got Matt's car running. A PTU problem & (2) alarm systems, one of which continually either cuts his fuel or won't shut off the fuel pump. (Now there is a problem.)
When Matt bought his car from some Dodgy guy in Sydney, there was no wiring specs for the alarm system & wires all over the place.
He finally got some advise & has spent considerable money to get it going, after trying different mechanics & auto electricans, that either didn't know anything about Zeds or were simply NOT Interested.
I provided Matt with a complete Nissan Manual on the Zed in the form of a DVD, that should help him. All he needs now is someone who knows Zed Auto Electrics to find this problem alarm & piss it off. He may also need a new fuel pump if the alarm has stuffed the original unit.
In any event, I wish him well in his pursuit of Zed Happiness.
I'm also available most weekends to help out.
    Cheers
    Kerry

Hehe its true. I should have chosen wiser but anyways im in the rut now :p Since then i have had a new PTU put in, had the crappy immobilizer and alarm removed, the injectors and seals done, flushed to the buggery to get cleaned up from all the bad oil and petrol. Keza is the bloke to go to in this area if your looking for contacts :bow2: that and to observe the extremly hot TT 2+2 he has (man it sounds good :zlove:)
Im pretty sure it is the pump and or fuel presure regulator but wont know til i have it tested or swapped with a working one to which im try to organise atm woo!

One day, soon hopfully, she will run again... ;)

    Ahhhhh!!!!

Now ain't you the sweet talker. :D:p
Anytime Matt that you need a hand or info that I can provide, just call.
Besides, you know where I am every weekend anyway.:D
Good to hear that Tony was able to help get your car going & provide some expert knowledge in other area's.
    Now all you need is a new pump, & she's a go'er.
I will be down this weekend if you need anything.
    Cheers
