Put an order in with them over two weeks ago. Decided to chase it up yesterday. Office phone unanswered. Ring mobile, call goes through to some call centre. They say they are taking messages and will get ttz to call me. They don't. Anyone else having issues with this mob?
Apparently I heard they aren't open anymore or something, but their website is still left online for some odd reason? That's what I heard anyways.. Sucks though because I think it'd be good to have a store in Melbourne for zed parts.
What are you after? Lots of people carrying parts... most of your Nissan gear can be purchased cheaper, faster, more reliably at www.conceptzperformance.com Do a search on TTZ there is plenty of info out there.
Two years inactive? You'd reckon the website would say something about that rather than item ships in 1 to 2 days !!. I was after the nolathane tension rod bush set. Can easily get elsewhere now I know the situation.
Don't get them... absoloute junk. I had a set that flogged out in my factory arms, now using adjustable rods.
Im no expert,and what I have to say is I'd be inclined to thinking that a site such as ttz,would be active or inactive,by its excellent design. For what reasons it is still up and listed? Dually.....Without noting it's cease of operation in plain view? I don't know myself,though,Im over suspicion and must pass judgment. In that, we all know as very much so, the site's experiences as read in threads on AUS300ZX. Im of the opinion it is a active ........? And not enough is being advised within AUS300ZX or anywhere else. Perhaps Im wrong.
The TTZ site was put together by AUS300ZX member Mark Picker from Dubbo, and is an excellent website in my opinion. Unfortunately, it has been my general experience over the past nine years, that TTZ has not lived up to the standards that the website suggests. There have been many reasons given for this, but there has not been any noticeable improvement. Nine years ago I had several satisfactory discussions with(and subsequent purchases from)Simon, however, that happy situation just faded away without any real cause being apparent. My experience seems to have paralleled that of many other prospective customers. There are no shortage of similar tales archived on this site.
I ordered some things from him late last year, and had no problems getting the goods within a week! Simon even gave me some freebees in the deal. He even replied to my emails to confirm that he had the stock before I sent the money through. Stu
When i bought my car last year i looked up the web site then rang as i needed the tie rod end a.s.a.p for r.w.c . Simon answered and sent the parts over night . I could not have been happier. To me the service was great . It's a pitty this is not the same service others have had as it would be a great little buisness and unfortunately word travels fast these days if you give bad service. dave
