dont know I know if you hit redline in 4th on a J-spec, you're just passing 180kph .....someone told me.....or something
oh I dunno , you can do about 170 in third at redline ... someone told me or somethin thought you could go a bit quicker in 4th
Found this in another thread At 7000RPM: 1st: 69 km/h 2nd: 115 km/h 3rd: 171 km/h 4th: 223 km/h 5th: 297 Km/h in here http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=257972&highlight=speed+gear
i was thinking that too...or at least the rear wheels lifted off the ground... i dont trust that photo...its too steady
Can you imagine if the jacks dropped with the vibrations of 7000rpm and the wheels rotating at 300km/h? Hope you've got alot of space in front of you!!
ah true, didnt think about that diff scenario, was at double island point up the coast with my mates for a camping and 4x4 trip....he became bogged (old hilux) and dug the rear wheels in and bottomed out on the sand...so needless to say the rear wheels just free spun in the hole...we recorded him going from 0-180 and off the speedo...happened within 15 seconds lol
Jakcs ? I dont know when I had mine of the ground i did about 60 in 2nd on jaks wasnt game to do aye more kind of stupid realy but the whole rear end was vibrating. I would imagine you would damage the shafts and the diff at even 150.
I often spin the rears up to 200 or so when I have the wheels off the ground. Helps tracking vibration sources. With wheels, without wheels, without prop shaft, braking etc. If the whole rear end is vibrating, then you sure have some balancing to do.
hmm...well felt like redline lol all i know is i was about to change up into 5thafter accelerating HARD through 3rd and 4th, and then thought "that can't be good". So glanced at the speedo.....and backed riiiiight off....... erm I mean my MATE...my MATE did all that stuff.....or something
That wasnt a loser flyby, he forgot he had stock zed braked lol!!! Was relatively impressive for a Zed though. Yes a little scary at that!!!!
