Anyone know what kind of wheels these are? They have AVS Advanced Vehicle System written on them Someone suggested they are 25th anniversary wheels?? Might be interested in swapping as they are not my taste, they have brand new tyres, 225 45 17 and 255 40 17
They are Japanese manufactured, Yokahama Wheel - ADVAN AVS VS-5. This style of wheel was fitted to the Stillen SMZ Z32. Refer to the following link concerning the sizing of the SMZ wheels. http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300...2565383/What-are-these-wheelstires-worth.html
SeventiesChick has a Stillen 25 Spare set for her (or put the wider rears on the front to have 255 all round)
I would be interested in swapping but all I have to offer is a set of 6 x OEM Z32 wheels with good condition tyres on them. Also I live in Victoria which I'm sure would kill this deal
its fine, very unlikely it was going to work I was thinking of trading spare parts I have lined up to sell on the forums but i would need like $600+ worth of parts that you wanted to make it an even trade and you probably want a new set of wheels more then spare parts.
Thanks QLDZDR........ no thank you button showing up for me. Maybe I need to have a few more posts under my belt? Anyway, just wondering what condition the wheels are in FireHorse? It's hard to tell from those pics...... would it be possible for you to post some close up shots please? And where abouts in Queensland are you? My brother lives up there so depending on where you are he could check them out for me and if I was to buy them he could bring them down next time he visits. I wouldn't mind having another set so then I could pick the best ones for the car. 3 of mine are in ok condition, with various degrees of peeling around the centre cap, and 1 is in pretty bad shape - looks as though someone sprayed it with something and has ruined it How much did you want for them?
I will get some close ups this weekend, The last pic was the worst rim, a couple of spots of gutter rash, shouldnt be too hard to fix I guess, pretty sure the other 3 are pretty good, the wording was coming off one of the center caps.. yeah, need better pics... I am out Ipswich way, about 55 mins west of Brisbane, he is welcome to pop round for a look
Worst comes to worst Ramon , can get them too me and i can drop them into Tony at work, and we might be able too swing a deal through work too get them down too you.
Thanks mate. My brother lives near Pimpama so that's only about an hour away from you so that should be fine. Anyway, I'll wait for the pics and we can go from there...... That's what we have all round on the car now - 255/40 R17. When the car got here from WA it needed new tyres all round which we knew about from the inspection we had done. Anyway, I went on redbook and also did research on the the net and found the tyre size so that's what we put on and yeah, they look phat lol!
Thanks Steve, sounds good! BTW, I can't see the thanks button anywhere..... is it coz I haven't posted enough or something?
It's a possibility, not sure how many posts or how long as a member before you can get the thanks button, but it will appear next to the " quote " button over too the right of the comments section the posters remarks.
Yeah, its definitely not there. Will have to wait and see....... How did you guys fare with the cyclone up there? Hope you are all ok.
Yeah we were okay in brissie area, a lot of rain and some minor flooding. It was more up the central coast that copped it and inland from there.
Yeah just lots of rain on top of big tides, so the creeks and rivers close too the coast got a tad overfull .
freight isn't that expensive. Just went e2go couriers for a set of 370z wheels and tyres. Depot to depot was $135
