Ok so heres the dilemma, i've fixed up my NA quite alot over the last year and a bit and now i want more power..... a TT if you will, BUT i don't want to lose all the money and effort i've put into this Z. This particular Z now owes me 16+k (including purchase price) and the only thing now needing replacement are minor things to do with looks (front seats and respray), nothing mechanical at all. Now my question is should i keep my NA and finish it off or should i get a TT and essentially start from square one again not knowing what has been done/changed?? Biggest decision of my life i think................ Any thoughts??
Is it an Auto or a Manual, you could go manual if it's auto, and maybe turbo it up with the right changes to the box, ecu, and the right advice from some of the mechanics or mechanically minded members on here.
Any personal attachment? If you want more power, TT power, and have no emotional attachment to the car, sell it and buy a TT. I was going to TT convert my NA, but with a baby daughter, I needed a 2+2 (NA was 2 seater). I was happy to TT convert the NA because I had invested a lot of money into the NA. But it really is much easier to just sell it and buy a TT. It was damned hard for me to sell the NA and I really wanted to keep it. But in the end, I manned up, and sold it. You may have to do the same.
