Replaced Shifter Bushings and polished the lips of 3/4 wheels

 

Replaced front shocks which took a good 5 hours work all due to one expletive bolt that was fused and after much pain and stripping drilled the bugger out :bash: Was meant go replace my calipers as well but no time left in the day. Next weekends project it is .

 

Dragged the bitch out of the shed (flat battery).
Slapped it on charge, and while I was waiting, added a few little pieces to the engine bay

Before: 10mm bolts on the fuel rail


After: Red anodised and stainless alan key bolts


Before: factory shock tower fittings


After: speaks for itself.

Kitty is looking great! Can i make a small suggestion though? $22 through rob will get you the anodised red washers and allen key bolts that hold the coilpacks to the plenum....and i reckon it would look schmick

Was actually chatting to him this morning and ordering some as I also need some chrome ones for the throttle body's.
I have the allen key bolts in the coil-packs already, just need the washers.

Not sure wether to keep the coil brackets black or go a different colour.
I already have chrome ones, but they would be better suited to a polished plenum.

Yeah it is. It's a very solid setup. Got some weight to it. The black face is metal, not plastic, never realised.

Pentroof Tension Rods. Don't know whether I'll go these or the Cusco ones i got from Mike. These were made to order and took their sweet ass time to get to me.











Pentroof Top Radiator Guide. Has a few chips in it here and there, might chuck it, not sure yet.

Cool. Hope you didn't pay too much for the pentroof, they're completely generic functionality wise...

 

Can't remember what I paid tbh. Was in November lol they aren't heavy like I imagined. I have never picked a tension rod up before so don't know whether they should be or not. It's something I imagined would be a solid heavy bit of kit. Though the SPL RUCAs I got are extremely light so don't know.

 

Made more progress relocationg the fuse box. This thing will be the death of me.

 

the question is .... "WHY" .. ????

Oh and because my turbos in my new engine will be sitting where the fuse box and ps reservoir sit :3
