Im in the market for an EBC, and cant decide on what one?

    Apexi AVCR $520
    Turbosmart e2 $585 (GB)
    or Greddy Profec b2 $385

Obviously they all have there own pros, and i like the price of the Profec B2, but is it really worth spending 585 on an EBC?

The turbosmart Eboost2 is quite a bit more than your average EBC and is overkill IMO for anything but a highpower setup. I would take the Profec B.

my A'Pexi AVCR is damn cool and has more features than you'll need, but where can you get it for that price?

Look, most EBC out these days (talking good brand names here) are good and will do exactly what you want them to. I got myself the GReddy Profec B spec II... good unit man. I didnt get the Turbosmart for one reason only. It is big, and a little wanky i think, but an excellent boost controller none the less. Ive seen them handle 1000hp Supras no dramas... but then again same with the Profec... and i love how it looks and the mounting options you have, not to mention the price you had quoted is good for this very reliable unit.

This is how i installed mine.

The Greddy is going to be your best bang for buck at that price.

Why no Blitz iD-3 or iColor on your list?

The mounting options is exactly why ive started questioning it.. the greddy you can clock mount (currently greddy t timer) or any small space? (warning light spot (auto "power", etc... with mods), column mount
only thing with the turbosmart is it has to be gauge podded.. either dash or pillar mounted, which is an extremely easy target for thieves...

The avcr is pretty easy to mount also??

Vote seems to be profec b so far...?

I use a Blitz EBC it is easy to setup & the 4 adjustable boost settings lock on settings without spikes.
